On June 10, 2014 between 10:15 AM and 4 PM nonprofit staff and board members are invited to participate in a Digital Storytelling workshop. This will give participants the skills to create their own videos using simple tools like smartphones and basic editing software. Led by Travis Gilmour, Director of Public Media at Alaska Public Media in Anchorage, it will be a great opportunity to learn from an expert how to craft stories to share the success stories of your organization and connect people to your mission. The workshop, which will be held at the Haines Borough Public Library, is free to nonprofit staff and board members; however pre-registration is required. Please contact us to reserve your seat.
