This year’s grant cycle opens on July 17th, and nonprofits have until 5 pm on September 11th to submit their applications. Please join us for a Brown Bag Lunch presentation by Lucy Lundergan, Grant Writing Tips, from 12 to 1 pm on July 23rd in the Library Community Room.
Lucy has been a grants consultant for three years and has secured $2.6M in funding. Prior to grant writing, she worked in the nonprofit world and as a paralegal. She loves that grant writing allows her to connect with various organizations and has worked on a wide range of grants including plastics recycling, crime prevention, and avalanche education. Lucy is a member of the Programming Committee for the Chilkat Valley Community Foundation and looks forward to helping local organizations with grant writing tips for the upcoming grant cycle!
