Chilkat Valley Community Foundation’s 2015 Grantees Announced!

Chilkat Valley Community Foundation’s 2015 Grantees Announced!
In support of our mission to enhance the quality of life for residents of the Chilkat Valley, the Chilkat Valley Community Foundation, an Affiliate of The Alaska Community Foundation, is pleased to announce 14 grants, totaling $18,212 to local nonprofits.
CVCF uses proceeds from its growing “community permanent fund” to award yearly grants to worthwhile programs in the Chilkat Valley. These grants are intended to support organizations and programs in our community that serve the needs of people in such areas as health, education, human services, arts and culture, youth, environment, and community development.
This year, thanks to the support of our generous donors, CVCF grants were awarded to a diverse group of organizations in support of projects that will make a difference in the lives of community residents and visitors.
